PROJECT REGISTER

The register is factual rather than critical. Dates are stated only where the present source record supports them securely; award years are not silently substituted for completion dates.

Cairns Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre — Cairns, Queensland. Charles Wright Architects. Public / civic. 2012 Eddie Oribin Award for Building of the Year. CWA also records a 2012 Master Builders Australia National Master Builders Award in Public Buildings; because an independent Master Builders archive entry has not been located in this audit, that construction-award claim is not used in the principal chronology below.

(-) Glass House — Cairns, Queensland. Charles Wright Architects. Residential. 2013 FNQ House of the Year; 2013 Queensland Residential Architecture Award; 2013 AIA National Commendations for Residential Architecture—Houses and Sustainable Architecture.

St Pauls Primary Health Care Centre — Moa Island, Torres Strait, Queensland. Charles Wright Architects. Remote primary-health project discussed in ART FORM; project status and scope are described from practice/client material rather than as an architectural award claim.

Wonga Beach Resort — Wonga Beach, Queensland. Charles Wright Architects. Proposed 66-villa six-star resort with conference, wellness, hospitality and interpretive-centre facilities; development application under assessment in 2026.

AWARDS & RECOGNITION

This chronology distinguishes architectural awards from builder awards, publication selections and cultural appearances. It does not treat those forms of recognition as equivalent.
